Crown

Updated: Mar 25, 2023

The Crown Chakra, also known as Sahasrara, is the seventh and final chakra in the human body's energy system. Located at the top of the head, this chakra is associated with spiritual enlightenment, unity consciousness, and a deep sense of interconnectedness with all of existence.

The crown chakra is often depicted as a thousand-petalled lotus flower, symbolizing the infinite possibilities of the spiritual realm. It is also associated with the color violet or white, representing the highest frequencies of light and consciousness.

When the crown chakra is balanced and open, one can experience a deep connection to the divine and a sense of purpose and meaning in life. This chakra is the gateway to the spiritual realm and can facilitate experiences of transcendence, ecstasy, and profound insight.

However, when the crown chakra is blocked or imbalanced, one may experience feelings of disconnection, confusion, and a lack of purpose or direction in life. Physical symptoms of an imbalanced crown chakra may include headaches, dizziness, and sensitivity to light and sound.

To balance and activate the crown chakra, one can engage in practices such as meditation, prayer, chanting, and contemplation. Spending time in nature, practicing gratitude, and engaging in acts of service and kindness can also help to activate this chakra and deepen one's connection to the spiritual realm.

Ultimately, the crown chakra reminds us that we are more than just physical beings; we are spiritual beings having a human experience. By tapping into this chakra's energy, we can access the infinite wisdom and love of the universe and live a life of purpose, meaning, and joy.
